Vassar William Louie Bradford
Vassar’s most recent accomplishment is winning the 2011 USA Nationals Gold Medalist for Kata Elite Competition for the fourth consecutive year with the help and instruction of Sensei Tanaka.
Emma Andrews
Emma’s most recent accomplishment is winning the 2010 USA Nationals Silver Medalist for Female Advance Elite Kata.
Hunter Guarino
Hunter’s most recent accomplishment is winning the gold medal for the USA in the 18th Maccabiah Games.
Jesse Boese
Jesse became the youngest student to pass the black belt examination on October 4, 2008.
As reported in the Anchorage Daily News, on July 13, 2010, ten of Tanaka's Martial Arts Academy students from Anchorage garnered 13 medals during the Karate Nationals. This includes earning six gold, three silver, and four bronze. The award recipients for each medal are:
