As a beginner in Nihon Karate-Do Kenwa Kai, you'll wear a solid white belt on your Karate Gi (uniform). How far you advance in this martial art is up to your determination and willpower, but with these two aspects aligned, you can achieve beyond what you expect with our help. The different ranks or belts our students wear are symbols of their proficiency level and dedication. We'll work to help you overcome your physical limitations and negative mindset to demonstrate proficiency and confidence in all areas of self-defense. By memorizing the various stances, movements, and katas of Karate, you'll learn discipline, endurance, and confidence to find success during belt testing and in the real world.
Below you can see a sample of some of our belt requirements. Feel free to reach out to us if you’d like more information.
